Why Mounjaro prices vary so much in 2026
The short answer is that Mounjaro pricing in the UK changed dramatically in September 2025, and different pharmacies have responded in different ways.
On 14 August 2025, Eli Lilly announced that UK wholesale prices for Mounjaro would increase by up to 170% from 1 September 2025, bringing UK pricing closer to other European markets. The 2.5mg starter dose rose from £92 to £133 per pen. The 15mg maximum dose jumped from £122 to £330.
